Foundation grants are the lifeblood of many nonprofits, but Martin Teitel—a foundation director for nearly thirty years—says grants don’t always go to the most deserving applicants. His book helps grant applicants who can’t afford to hire a consultant understand what foundations are looking for. Teitel is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead, Massachusetts.
